Sony confirms the date and time it will likely debut the PlayStation Neo

The reveal of Sony's newest hardware milestone could be livestreamed next month.

Next month’s PlayStation Meeting will be livestreamed according to confirmation by a Sony representative talking with Polygon. This lends credence to the likelihood that the highly anticipated PlayStation 4 Neo will be officially revealed at the event.
The PlayStation Meeting begins on September 7th at 12 p.m. PT and will take place in New York City’s PlayStation Theater. The representative that announced the event’s livestream also stated that the company would “provide more information as we get closer” which could consist of more details on the Neo’s reveal.
The PlayStation 4 Neo’s existence was confirmed prior to E3 2016, but Sony decided not to show off the hardware at the show. Since then, the industry has suspected Sony would reveal the console during September’s Tokyo Game Show, but a recent by French website Gameblog claimed that the system would be unveiled at the PlayStation Meeting. Now, with confirmation of the event’s livestream, this seems the most likely circumstance.
