AMD Reduces the prices for Ryzen 7 Prices, Planning to release to Release the RyZen 3 Series

The AMD’s Ryzen family has been a major story ever since it debuted several months ago. We know there’s a new high-end, 16-core variant, dubbed Threadripper, on its way in the not-too-distant future, and now we’ve got some early rumors on what clock speeds might be. Oh — and AMD has trimmed the price on existing Ryzen 7 CPUs as well, in case you’re interested in buying into that family, but were hoping for a bit of a price cut first.

AMD Reduced the Price of Ryzen 7:

The actual cost of Ryzen 7 1800X type is about $499. The manufacturers priced the 1700X and 1700 at $399 and $329 respectively.
AMD is slashing prices for Ryzen 7 series. They set the new price for the 1800X, 1700X and 1700 as $450, $350, $315 respectively.
AMD’s Ryzen 7 is the most competitive desktop CPU the company has launched in over a decade. Phenom II (aka Deneb) was a good part for its day, but it didn’t compete particularly well against Nehalem, which had been in market for over a year by the time Deneb debuted in early 2009. Ryzen 7, in contrast, takes the fight directly to Intel’s top-end HEDT markets, and it does so at dramatically lower prices. Our own benchmark comparison of Ryzen 7 1800X versus its various Intel counterparts like the 6900K and 6950X are shown below, and our full review is here.

AMD is Planning to Release Ryzen 3 Series:

At the end of July AMD is planning to launch Ryzen 3 series for the Mainstream consumers, Naples server processors, and RX Vega gaming card. Manufacturers embedded high-end graphics architecture against the NVIDIA Corporation.

What is The Reason Behind the Price Cut:

On Financial Analyst Day May 16, AMD gave a detailed description on Ryzen Threadripper CPUs. These CPUs contains the 16 core, 32 threads, and a new HEDT platform. Manufacturers are planning to release it in this summer. Ryzen Threadripper will surely compete with Intel’s Core i9. According to the Digital Trends, Intel’s Core i9’s 18-core model costs $2,000, and a 16-core model price is $1,700.
Digital Trends believes the Threadripper costs about $900. It will double the Ryzen 7 Chips count. AMD reduced the price to find how the customers react with the various price cuts.

Conclusion:

According to reports on Financial Analyst Day, AMD Ryzen Threadripper CPU will give a huge competition to Intel’s Core i9. The manufacturers reduced the price of Ryzen 7 series.
